- Check timing belt replacement interval & report if due according to mileage/age

- Check/advise brake fluid level and boiling point

- Everything in an Oil service
- Carry out engine management system scan
- Check air conditioning system/temperature if applicable
- Check battery connections
- Check condition and tension of auxiliary drive belts (excl. timing belt/cambelt)
- Check condition of clutch cable (where visible)
- Check door/bonnet lock operation & lubricate locks, hinges & catches
- Check drive shaft gaiters for security and report any leaks
- Check gearbox fluid level manual/automatic differential (if applicable)
- Check headlight alignment
- Check illumination of dash & heater controls
- Check operation of instrument warning lights
- Check security of handbrake linkages & travel and adjust if required
- Check shock absorbers condition and mounting. Report any leaks
- Check steering rack gaiters condition
- Check wheel bearings for excessive play or noise
- Check wheel nut torque to manufacturer specification
- Check/adjust valve clearances (if fitted)
- Check/advise pollen filter condition, replace if necessary (subject to additional charge)
- Check/clean HT leads and components (if fitted)
- Collect vehicle (if required)
- Renew cabin filter
- Replace air filter
- Replace fuel filter (if fitted and external from fuel tank)
- Spark plugs changed according to mileage (petrol vehicles only)
- Test/advise alternator output & security
- Top up antifreeze if required
- Visual check of fuel system (inc. tank and cap)
- Carry out Recall/Campaign check
